1. Agreement and scope

These Terms apply to paid local checking services provided by Local Check 東京 within Tokyo’s 23 wards. A service agreement is formed only after we confirm the scope, total price, expected delivery time, and deliverables by email, and you complete payment.

2. What is included

The confirmed service includes only the agreed question, location, time allowance, and deliverables. Listed prices include transportation within Tokyo’s 23 wards and phone communication reasonably required for the original agreed check. Admission fees, purchases, extra locations, and added work are excluded unless stated in the quote.

3. Payment

Payment is made in advance through a Stripe-hosted invoice. We begin work after successful payment. Any taxes, currency conversion, or card issuer charges shown by your payment provider are your responsibility.

4. Delivery and changes

Delivery timing is confirmed before payment. Timing may change because of business hours, access restrictions, weather, transport disruption, or other local conditions. We will contact you if a material delay occurs. New questions or a changed scope require a new quote.

5. No outcome guarantee

We perform the agreed check with reasonable care, but cannot guarantee that a business will answer, an item will remain available, access or photography will be permitted, third-party information will be accurate, or a particular result will be achieved. Reports describe conditions observed or communicated at the time of the check.

6. Safety and prohibited requests

We may refuse requests involving unlawful activity, trespassing, harassment, covert surveillance, sensitive personal information, unsafe conditions, impersonation, regulated professional advice, or conduct that violates a venue’s rules or a third party’s rights.

8. Use of reports

Reports are prepared for the requesting customer’s personal decision-making. You remain responsible for travel, purchase, reservation, accessibility, and other decisions made using the report. Do not resell or publicly redistribute the report without written permission.
